Oana
Hello and welcome to another epic episode of The Feminine Uncut podcast. If you’re here for the first time, I’m Oana, your host, life coach, and founder of TheFeminine.com, a digital platform dedicated to women all over the world. We champion a new paradigm of being a woman, the feminine way of learning and developing and expressing what does feminine mean? And how to be the woman you admire the most. How about that? Be the woman you admire the most and love the most. So today we’re going to do an ABC of our method, of our process, of how we guide women into becoming the woman they admire the most. And together with my partner, Ioana, we really kind of tried to sum up with some distinctions and principles that we’re working with that can give you a clear insight into our work into the universe of the feminine. And why are these stepping stones relevant in working and nourishing the feminine? Hi, Ioana.
Ioana
Hi, Oana. I had this thought one day in a conversation with you and you ask, are we sure that everybody in our community really understands the ABC, the glossary of our practices? Because this is on what the feminine practices we talk about the stay and grow. So we’re going to be a bit more explanatory today. Just stick to the definition. I’m going to challenge you with the most frequent topics we use and terms. And it would be great if you just explained what they mean and why they are important to integrate them into our daily feminine practice. So the bedrock of the feminine sacred space and hard meditation. What is sacred space? Is it the same thing with heart meditation? Can you explain this?
Oana
Well, the heart meditation is a meditation of the heart where you access your energetic heart. And as I say in my live workshops and in my retreats, it’s the stepping stone, the first, the portal, the home, the beginning of the journey. Why? Because it is through our heart connection that we understand the feminine energy and the feminine process and the human process, which is very connected with the feminine. So one of the superpowers that awakened feminine women have is total reliance on their heart space. And it’s the Alpha and the Omega of everything that we know to be true in our feminine essence. So developing a heart connection gives us access to the soul, and gives us access to our intuition and intuitive message. It gives us access to the psychic realm, gives us access to our multi-dimensionality. The heart space is multi-dimensional. It lives in the present moment. So when we connect with our energetic heart, we’re opening the subtle layers of our inner universe. We’re connecting with our energetic body, with their emotional body, with a mental body, with a spiritual body. We’re connecting with other beings. We start connecting with Mother Earth.
Oana
It doesn’t feel just like a planet. It becomes a living, breathing entity. So we are connecting with our spiritual self and spiritual realm.
Ioana
When you say to find your truth by tapping into your heart or the truth of your heart by going into the Sacred Space, this is what you mean.
Oana
Sacred Space of the Heart? Yeah, I mean while we drop from the mind into our heart, connect energetically through prayer, through meditation, and the way we do it in the safe space of the heart meditation, we are connecting with the answer, the truth in that moment on the spiritual realm. So we are intuitively connecting with what’s really going on, not only in our mind but in our spiritual self or just being able to tap into different aspects of ourselves that are more subtle like what the inner child feels in that moment or what’s really going on on an unconscious level. We’re becoming able to decipher our synchronicities and understand the subtle messages from the universe through guides and other synchronistic situations and circumstances. So we’re connecting deeper with ourselves and the capital sales.
Ioana
Higher sales, higher sales. Okay, so the way to actually experience all that is not trying to understand it and just start breathing. Go and do our Sacred Space meditation while it’s guiding you through the whole process step by step. Or just put the intention to find the truth of your heart, breathe and go to a place where you can just be with yourself and just have patience on the intention to connect with your truth. Okay, the second topic, is the second bedrock of the family, the Sacred Circle, and the Sisterhood. The Sacred Circle of Sisterhood, or however you want to call it, why the Sacred Circle and the Sisterhood, which we’ve also dedicated podcasts to, is so important for our womanhood.
Oana
Before answering that or connecting both the Sacred Space of the Heart with the Sacred Circle of Sisterhood, I want to stop a little bit and explain the Sacred okay, which keeps coming back. It’s like a sacred space circuit circle. What does that mean? It means becoming energetically awakened to your DNA and legacy as a woman. The divine feminine is present in our body, locked in our DNA and it is bringing energy, consciousness, and a set of knowledge. If you want ancient wisdom, that is the feminine principle in action, in motion on a universal level, on a spiritual level, and then on a psychological level, on a physical level. So what does sacred mean or abiding by? The sacred means you as a regular woman, in your mind, in your education, normal education, you went to University, become a smart woman or you never went to University and you’re still a smart woman. So you’re a regular woman and at some point, you feel like you want to explore more of the feminine, you want to kind of feel something, you’re feeling something it’s quite not clear what you’re feeling and you’re calling it’s the calling of the DNA that’s embedded in yourself in your ovaries, in your physical body.
Oana
That’s the call of the Divine feminine. And it’s a call of your spiritual self wanting to talk to you, to the human self, to the mind self that’s just trapped in every day to day limitations. So awakening to that DNA, awakening that DNA gives you access to your sacredness as a woman, which means you are raising the consciousness and the vibration to meet your higher self, your spiritual self as a woman, and also meeting the divine feminine and allowing the guidance to come from your higher self, from your divine family with all the help that implies, which is a lot of help to your human limitations. That’s why we use the ritual. We use breathing, we use meditation as a stopping point and a bridge between the human and the spiritual. Because when we step into a ritual, our perception will change through the ritual from the human very fleshly embedded, limited egoistic perception of our reality, of ourselves, of the current situation to a heightened, more detached, more spirited, in the spirited perception of the same situation, of your circumstance. So it’s like giving yourself superpowers and abiding by the sacred makes you super powerful because in the space, in the gap between your human perception and your spiritual perception lies a lot of help from the spirit realm, which is the divine feminine, your higher self, and all the feminine energy that is running through the sacred circle, which is actually a circle of all the awakened women that have abided by their hearts, whether in this lifetime or other past lifetimes.
Oana
That when you click and open the heart space, you tap unconsciously into that. And if you ask, you shall receive on an energetic level. And not only am I saying this kind of help can be very physical when you need that kind of help come through different human Angels that just never expected when it comes mostly strangers or strangers to what you thought you needed help.
Ioana
Yeah, that’s true.
Oana
So it’s like the subtle realms working and in action. And the sacred circle is very important. Now we’re in a place where I really invite you to join our Sacred Circle Facebook group because this is where we’re going with the conversation deeper, with practices, with insights, with principles of the feminine way of living life. And it’s open now with recommendations to join the group.
Oana
But we’ll put the link in every description and we decided to open it to expand and have a lot of other women. And the reason for that is that we need a sacred circle in our life, meaning a circle of women that won’t be in our hearts field, that can step into the sacredness with us. And what that means is amplifying our feminine power. How when women meet in a sacred space, in the heart space, together they meet and they do rituals, they dance, they laugh, they share. They hug themselves, they listen deeply. They breathe together. They are activating. That DNA, that divine energy, feminine energy in their body, and that amplifies in a circle. So whatever your healing, whatever you want to manifest, whatever you hold as a focus in your life receives amplified energy to be met in reality, to manifest. So in the sacred circle, not only that, you experience the bond and you melt the loneliness in your life, and you melt all those disappointments and expectations from the men to know you emotionally and feel you emotionally. They’re not up to that. That’s not their part. Women, the circle of the women, that’s the function.
Oana
To meet you emotionally, to be with you, to hold up the moon together, to cry and to laugh, to be wild, to be crazy. And not only that, it will support you ongoingly in your process as a woman, but it also amplifies everything. It gives you extra energy. Who doesn’t need extra energy?
Ioana
It’s crazy. Everybody in the 25th, and 21st centuries. I thought I was saying the fifth century. In the 21st century, probably everybody. But I want you to explain a bit more why the sacred circle and sisterhood are not the same things as friendship, and why sacred listening and trust are the two core values of creating an experience.
Oana
Well, it’s not friendship because we’re not meeting there to gossip. We’re not meeting there to give advice. We’re not meeting there to be disappointed together by the same things. We’re not meeting there to have the same sorrows or the same likelihood or to shame men or to go shopping together or to gossip about other women’s success. It’s sacred. So we’re stepping into the space, listening. Sacredly beyond judgment, beyond ego, beyond trying to fix, solve, or teach somebody something, beyond advice. Just Ping a mirror, a transparent mirror to another person’s process, honoring and respecting that the other person already knows their answer, their wisdom, their inner guidance. And we’re just holding space in sacredness for the other person to shine its own light. And we speak in our truth. We don’t speak from the ego. We don’t just brag and shut out how good we are. We’re, like, really connecting with our vulnerability and sharing from a vulnerable place. And that creates a sacred space that amplifies the space in which the divine feminine can come in. She’s a goddess. She doesn’t just come in in any regular setting. She really knows self-respect and self-authority and self-love.
Oana
She holds herself mightily. So the fact that you received her code in your DNA doesn’t make you worthy of her or that you can take her for granted? Yes. And that’s one of the first teachings that I’ve received from the divine feminine. Just deeply cherish and nourish. And become aware of the immense privilege and immense opportunity, but also the value of that energy as a quality. It’s life itself. It’s the biggest quality. So you can’t just have regular listening, regular speaking, a regular setup, and it teaches you self-respect. It teaches you how to value yourself at this level, sacredly. So it’s a very beautiful lesson and initiation in itself.
Ioana
Okay. The third concept, grounding.
Oana
Grounding is a practice that has been used forever since ancient times to connect with the energy of the Earth. It is through grounding that we feel connected and in communication with Mother Earth, which is an entity, a living being. And grounding happens in many ways in a very physical and easygoing. It happens when you walk barefoot in nature, on the beach, or in a forest.
Ioana
With awareness. We use awareness.
Oana
Yes, with awareness. Well, it happens if you don’t do it with awareness, but you’re not really getting the whole thing when you have trees, because trees are just like these children or mothers or just connect with flowers or crystals. It’s part of grounding. How we do it in a feminine practice is through breathing and meditation. So through meditation, we move our perception from the mind into the heart, from the heart into the Earth. And then through the breath, we’re bringing life force energy from the Earth’s energy or energetic body, and we’re amplifying it through the breath. And that’s the feminine energy being activated, awakened in us shifting, healing, cleaning our subtle energy body and awakening us on an energetic level, on a conscious level, stirring up our emotions, stirring up our sensations, stirring up our intuition, connecting us with our higher self, and opening the spiritual realm of our feminine wisdom.
Ioana
So if you find yourself at the seaside or in the mountains, sleep deprived, feeling suddenly energized and hungry, that’s grounding happening to you consciously? It happened to me.
Oana
But I realized four days after. So as usual. Yeah. And when we do that through the breath and in meditation, we can receive guidance from the Earth. We receive different energy and information and even healing processes. The Earth is very healing because our body is made of Earth energy. So it’s like very healing on a physical level to connect with the Earth’s energy.
Ioana
That was curious. We have a grounding meditation in the second module of the four Players document online course on my list. The next topic is the inner girl/child. If you feel that you want to say something very brief because we have a whole episode on that. So if you want to learn more about the Inner Girl or the Inner Child, go to episode 32. You will find everything you need to know about it there. But if you want to say something brief in this context about Inner Girl.
Oana
Not everything, but enough to get you even practice and a clear scenario so that you can grasp the concept very shortly. The Inner child is a psyche concept, an archetype in our psyche, in our unconsciousness, holds the realm of the unconsciousness, and is connected to our experience as children. Our other life experiences and our unconscious set of information. Because when we come into this lifetime, we receive the collective subconscious. We receive our family subconscious. And then we develop an individual subconscious. So he holds the key to all that information. He’s like a traveler going from one closet of the library to another closet of the unconscious library. Picking up information, and translating it to our mental, rational, self, mental self. And it’s very important because it is also the part of us that is the most authentic and vulnerable. And connects us to our souls. So it’s different from our soul. It’s different from our bodies. It’s different from our minds. It’s an archetype connected to our unconscious.
Ioana
And you might see or read everything about the inner girl, which is basically the same thing.
Oana
Yeah. It’s the aspect of the inner child that’s connected to our feminine development.
Ioana
And speaking of the inner child, the next topic is the rite of passage. Of course, there’s a whole anthropological literature. Talking about tribal rites of passage. But let’s be more specific and explain a bit the sense of it in how you are using the concept of rite of passage.
Oana
The rite of passage is an initiation. Initiation is stepping into a sacred space, a sacred process consciously. So that you can move your consciousness. From wherever you were at the beginning of your initiation to a new level. All right. The passage was created in ancient times. In tribal scenarios around adolescence. Because it was a way to awaken the adolescent. To the adult awareness without consciousness. It came through an initiation which was a set of knowledge and practices. That would develop the adolescent into an adult. It will end up with a physical challenge. That would give him access to all the teachings and all the things he practiced. So that he would understand and know himself as an adult. Whether it was a woman or a man. Different rites of passage for women. Different rites of passage for men. Basically connected to masculinity and femininity. And after that, they would receive this acknowledgment from the Wisdom tribe, from the Wisdom Circle. You are a man. You are a woman now. You can mate. You can be together. You can have children. You’re ready to be Kings and Queens. So it really is a rite of passage an initiation that you consciously or unconsciously go through.
Oana
That moves you into a much more mature self. I say consciously and unconsciously. Because we tap into rites of passage on an unconscious level all the time. When we get married, when we get divorced, when somebody dies, when we die, when we get born, when we go to college. There are different rites of passage. Moving us from one stage of development to another stage of development. But when we do them consciously, we open a sacred experience. And we’re guided fully into that. And I use rites of passage. Because I think this is one of the things that’s been missing the most in our modern world. That’s giving us a lot of confusion in our adult lives. Because on an emotional level, we’re trapped in our adolescence and don’t have clarity around our adult energies and how we can fully become adults in all areas of our life. We become adults socially, and professionally, and we go through an initiation. But it never occurs to us that the same thing has to happen physically and emotionally, and sexually, physically, emotionally. So most of our divorce rate is part of that because we don’t know how to be in the family.
Oana
And our midlife crisis is a rite of passage. And it calls for a much more grounded connection with ourselves.
Ioana
If the concept is still too abstract for anybody. A movie came into my mind. Movies are always helpful in bringing extra things to make us envision them. It’s a film called and if you want to actually see how a rite of passage used to happen for a woman, once the phrase going from childhood to adolescence, then from adolescents to womanhood, and then from womanhood to priesthood, there’s this beautiful movie called Mists of Avalon. The story is happening during the reign of King Art. So just go and watch it. It’s beautiful. And they really portray everything. Juan, I just said myths of Avalon.
Oana
Yeah, it’s beautiful. Yeah. It is a difference between inner girl to adolescence, adolescence to young womanhood, and full womanhood priestess energy. And it’s how we also work in our retreats and in our deeper work, live work. We facilitate a sacred space where women can connect through their hearts, with their own self, with the divine feminine as a guide, and connect basically with their heart, the Earth energy, their inner girl, the adolescent, and then step into this beautiful rite of passage, connecting with the archetypal energies of the maiden, which is the young woman of the wild woman, and the mother, which is full Bloom womanhood, and then the priestess, which is the wise woman. And we all have it trapped in that DNA legacy of the divine feminine that’s trapped in our ovaries. We need to awaken it. And the right passage is a set of practices, meditation, breathing techniques, structures of different spiritual exercises, and tools that awaken our feminine energy to all these realms. It’s a very complex experience, and we are very complex as women. And it’s when we’re going all the way through to the Princess energy and connect with her and bring her into our lives because we don’t have to be 60 to connect with those archetypal energies.
Oana
It’s when the full awakening of the feminine happens and it will balance the masculine. Unless we go all the way through that initiation, we’re really in labor with the masculine. It’s not really clear how we can balance that energy.
Ioana
Okay. And to end with the last concept, there are more, but these are the fundamentals is womanhood. I know that’s a word that can mean a lot of things, but you use it in a very specific way and it relates to this right of passage and to these different phases a woman can go through.
Oana
Yeah, womanhood is a very complex experience because it is a spiritual and psychological, and physical process that is ongoing. So womanhood is how people see me as a woman and how I Act and react and feel and be as a woman in my real life. But it also means more than that. It means how I develop myself as a woman in my inner universe. And that the inner universe is created out of three anchors. It is for me, the woman, wherever I am in my development, wherever I am in my stage of life, with all my ups and downs, with minor girls, adolescent, with all the cracks spaces in me, with all the limited areas in me, with all the mighty powers, just me as a regular woman, beautiful woman, amazing woman, like any other woman, regular woman. And then there’s my Higher Self and my inner guide and my Inner self. And then there’s the Divine Feminine. And then there are the multiple facets of the Divine Feminine and of womanhood that we can connect with through the archetypal process. What does that mean? Archetypes are these beautiful, complex structures, energetic psychological structures of different facets in our psychology of the Feminine.
Oana
So we’re connecting with the maiden, the Virgin energy, its compassion, its spring, its purity, its unabated bravery and passion and commitment for whatever you want to dream and vision for. And then we’re connecting with the Wild Woman, which is the fire, the passion, the evolution, the truth, sexuality, orgasm, ecstatic, pleasure, wild, being crazy, being pioneered, being free, and independent. There’s a mother Energy that is nourishing deeply loving, unconditionally, patient, tolerant, quiet, and just a safe, harbor. And then there’s the Wise Woman, which is priestess energy, psychic realm, intuition, spirituality, higher alchemy capacity to transform the negative into the positive polarized energy, heal collectively, and so on and so forth. So it’s the Inner Girl, which is the amazing, joyful, magical aspect of ourselves that is always playful, always joyful, always connecting us with the purity of life. It’s the adolescent who is a rebel and wants to idolize things but also has this mighty passion and this mighty commitment to innovation. It’s Mother Earth’s energy, the Divine Feminine, the Moon’s energy. It’s all the goddesses and other women that were awakened, that became priestesses that have developed different aspects. Meditation, compassion, truth. So womanhood is how people see me outside.
Oana
And then womanhood is how I nourish myself in this triangle between myself as a regular woman, regular, normal woman. And then the Divine Family, with all these facets and archetypes woman is also the last pillar of our four Pillars of Femininity.
Ioana
Course, in fact, through this four Pillars of Femininity course, we are going through almost all these concepts. The first pillar is the Sacred space, the second pillar is grounding the third pillar is the inner child and the fourth pillar is the activation of the woman which is connected to the woman who you just explained to us and all of them are in fact a right of passage or take you through a right of passage to be more correct in how I put it.
Oana
So it’s an ABC and it’s open for sale so you can just jump and take it on because it will be a very beautiful experience of your feminine self and how beautiful and magnificent you are.
Ioana
You’re going to feel that it’s not just going to be a concept and it’s more than a program or more than a course the meditation you’ll find in each of the fielders is medicine. You can use them autonomously and independently of the course of the whole course. Of course the first time it’s advisable to go through the whole process and take it one period at a time but then it just can play and make a puzzle out of the practices and out of the rituals and meditations are really like medicine. Yeah.
Oana
One of the graduates she’s a long-term graduate and she too the four pillars I think one year ago yeah and I just briefly talked to her a week ago and she said, you know, I just did a wild woman meditation from the four pillars and it’s just amazing you should do more meditation because it’s like every time I’m in confusion or something is not quite right you just go and do this meditation and I find balance and peace of mind and I know what to do and I’ve connected again with myself and it’s just beautiful. So one year later it’s still a practice that I go back to so it’s beautiful. Try it on. Are you okay?
Ioana
I think there are more things we should talk about. Glossary of course, if you have more questions or are still clear about some of the concepts that we use a lot just drop us a question at [email protected] or anywhere you feel comfortable in a private message and we’ll explain it for you. Thank you, Oana.
